| Task sharing maybe more fair in a same-sex partnership |
Choosing a mate is like picking something or someone to increase a person's usefulness or happiness. It is suggested that we pick partners with similar age, education, race and religion. The challenge is sorting out the wage generation and work at home tasks. In opposite sex couples, it is suggested that high waged men will seek women partners on lower wages who will concentrate on home duties. In same sex partnerships, the split between wage earning and home duties may not be as easy to do like in a 'classical sex divide'. Indeed, the same sex task division might be fairer & more honest. |
