| Immediate action: | Seek medical attention. Call 000 or onsite emergency number / two way channel if possible. |
| Simple steps: | Do NOT wash the bite area (Need for ant-venom ID) No cutting, injections, freezing or torniquets. Apply a folded pad over bite area Apply a firm bandage (like a sprained ankle) and wrap towards the centre of the body to reduce spread. For bites to the head. neck or back apply and maintain firm pressure on a folded pad over bite area. |
| Reduce movement | Do not walk or move the limb Bring transport to the patient. |
