Think BEFORE you drink

Don't feel pressured to drink.
Don't pressure your mates!

Think about how you're getting home,
appoint a 'skipper'
and stick to the deal.
Take the skipper role in turns,
and don't sneak in a few drinks.
It's not smart to tempt the skipper either!

Drinking limits for girls & guys
Latest news release - pregnant women should NOT drink

Dollars on the bar Different pubs, taverns, clubs & wet canteens
usually charge a range of prices.

If you plan to drink a couple of middys,
round it out with a lemon, lime & bitters
and contribute towards the skipper's softdrinks
then you'll need to put in about $15 - $20 for the float.

Rule 1: Skippers put in NOTHING / their drinks are free

Rule 2: Don't add to the float / when gone, it's time to stop.

Same as 2 standard drinks of full strength beer (1 of these in 1 hr = 0.05 limit)
The above drink equivalents are indicative only - be wise, drink less and don't risk it.
Take care, a POT of full strength in Victoria or Queensland and you should be under the 0.05 limit.
A POT in WA and there is a good chance that you will be over the 0.05 limit.

Moderate use of alcohol can be an enjoyable, safe experience,
if used with caution.

When drinking, sip each drink slowly, and always consume alcohol with food.
Space drinks out to no more than one per hour,
and drink some water in between drinks.

Enjoy having time with mates
and just a few drinks.
Don't go over the top.

Pregnant women should NOT drink any alcohol
in the latest 2007 reearch.
