Don't date just because everyone else does!
When you want to date, it should be because you care for someone.
Don't pressure your date to do something they don't want to do.

A couple
of guidelines
Dating relationships should have:
good communication, honesty, and respect.

You may want to spend all your time with this person,
but important to spend time apart,
so you have other things to bring into the relationship.

Get to know a person before you go out for the first time,
by talking on the phone or texting,
or sharing time in groups at school.

Go out in a group of friends for the first few times,
which makes it easier to get to know someone in a group situation.

Plan fun activities,
movies, picnics, pools, 10 pin bowling, skating etc.

Discuss your limits with the other person,
and agree on what is OK doing.

Respect curfews and other rules of parents.

Tell a friend and your parents where you are going,
and who you will be with and how your parents can find you.
(Check the credit, battery and turn it on if you have a mobile)
