Early memories

Children   Making early memories
  Back

A Baby is on the way! From when we know there is a baby on the way,
9 months goes very quickly!

The nesting urge is strong with the Mum to be (even again)
and feel that it is right to get a bedroom done out
with baby furnishings, curtains, posters etc.

It's nice to be able to knit or sew for the baby,
even sewing a cot quilt, or crocheting a cot blanket,
is special for you and the baby.

(Even as they get older
they like having the blanket or quilt on their bed!)

And they grow up
very quickly ...
Children grow up so quickly,
so it's important to make some memories,
for you, and the children!

Some things are great to put in a scrap book
or photo album;
or even on a video,

Remembering the 1st's ...
1st crawling, or bottom shuffling.
1st steps and walking, with a big smile on their face!
1st tooth!
1st word is very special!
1st haircut .... you can keep a lock of hair!

Making biscuits together can be fun, as well as educational.
Going to the park and feeding the ducks is always a great experience!

Riding a tricycle, pedal car, a scooter, and a bike
are all milestones ... to be remembered.

DVS in car

There is of course, birthday parties, a day out at the zoo etc!

Holidays can be fun .... or stressful!
(Sometimes it's easier and even more fun
to stay at home ... so keep that on your choices list).

Making a handprint or footprint, and putting it on a card,
is a fantastic idea; for Thankyou cards, Christmas cards, etc.

Aim for both your HOME and WORK life
to be satisfying for all
